The Gospel Jamboree group recorded The Gospel Jamboree Live! at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church on May 7, 1999. The song list included two original songs written by Corinne Lillo as well as traditional gospel songs. Robin Nash volunteered his time as engineer for the project. Holy Spirit Lutheran Church was raising funds to help sponsor 5 orphaned refuges who had come to Edmonton from Rwanda. To help with the fundraising the Gospel Jamboree group produced a live recording and had 50 tapes duplicated at B-Scene Studio. These were sold for $10 each totalling $500. which was donated to the Church for the orphan sponsorship.
