In 2018, Glenn entered the Memphis Bound Blues Contest in the band category — Glenn Gray Gangsters. The band members were Glenn Gray – vocals/guitar, Bob Kitt – keyboards, Gerard Murray – Bass and Denis Frigon – Drums. Glenn played an all original set featuring several blues songs that Glenn wrote and recorded on his albums “The Strathcona Rag and Roll” and “Five Bucks a Nail”.
