Corinne Lillo
Corinne was born into a life of music. Her parents were both professional musicians and teachers. Corinne’s grandparents on both sides also played in family bands. Corinne’s folks said that she sang before she spoke. She started taking accordion lessons at the age of 5 and piano at 6. Her guitar studies began at age 12 with Wayne Alford and vocal study at 13 with Sherrill Demarco. Corinne joined her parent’s band the Vic Lillo combo at the age of 15 playing rhythm guitar. The following year her brothers joined the family group. They also started the kids group “The Lillo’s”. Corinne met Glenn when he was hired to record bass and guitar on some of her original songs. Love blossomed and thus began a long life journey together of music, recordings, gigs and teaching. Corinne and Glenn both studied at University of Alberta learning more instruments in the Bachelor of Education program. Corinne also studied further vocals at Grant McEwan College as well as the Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois (near Chicago).
Glenn and Corinne played together in several bands and for several special events. Corinne also wrote several songs which Glenn arranged and recorded. Click on the links to hear the music and watch the videos.
